Pinkie finds Spike’s infatuation with Rarity so sweet.

Lines here for anyone else who wants to colour this.

Some notes:

Twilight is supposed to have a slightly sickly paleness to her because she often stays up (too) late, whereas Rarity carefully nurtures hers with sun-blocker ;)

Rainbow Dash and Applejack both have a tan because they’re often out in the field (either doing sports or tending to the farm).

Same for the CMC (save Sweetie Belle, who is a little bit more sheltered)

Spike has a slightly green-ish complexion because he’s a dragon :)

I got the suggestion to draw the mane 6 with their destinies/clothes swapped. To say I had fun drawing this is way of an understatement.

ok, so expanding on the idea of these two pics…

the idea i have for this is basically a whole alternate universe set in a big city. spike’s this little punk girl who lives on the street, usually hanging around with the dragon gang (garble and co.). more often than not she helps out twilight in the library though, cause he’s a completely disorganized mess. sometimes she even sleeps there. she’s a good kid at heart, but quite the wise-ass and prone to storm off in a huff when things get too personal.

various other characters make appearances around town of course.

here we have a well-known pink-haired assistant from the cakes’ little bakery who’s always willing to sneak out a little treat for spike.
